30.Oct.'07 Joseph Leigh was with the 12th.Lancers during the Emergency. His son,Paul, would like to hear from anyone who knew his father during his service in Malaya. Email: flearfc@hotmail.com

2nd.Nov.'07 Police Lt.Robert Murray Menzies served in Perak 1954 to '57. His son would like to hear from anyone who knew his father at that time. Email: donald.celtic@tiscali.co.uk

!4th.Jan.'08 Lt.Col.( Robert?)Clements MC joined the Gurkha Regiment in India in about 1929 and won his Military Cross at Imphal,Burma in 1944. Upon Indian Independence he transferred to the British 1/2 Gurkha Regiment, spending most of his time on overseas postings including Malaya.He maried twice; Jane Grey and then Laura Dalton by whom he had a son.During the Indonesian Confrontation he was posted to Borneo and is mentioned in the book "Britains Secret War-The Indonesian Confrontation 1962 -66" by Will Fowler. He died in 1964 in unknown circumstances. Anyone knowing of Lt.Col.Clements and the manner of his death is asked to contact Alistair Kerr by Email: Alistair.Kerr@fco.gov.uk
